Alison Doody
Alison Doody is an Irish model and actress. Her birth date was 11th November 1966. She made her feature film debut with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to play Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Donnevan's role as A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988), and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) also play roles. Doody began her modeling career after her being approached by an aspiring photographer. Her career has since transformed into commercial modeling. Doody did not shy away from glamour or naked work, a rule that was extended to her acting profession. If she came to the director's attention in the role in a James Bond film, Doody accepted a minor role in A View to a Kill (1985). Doody was named one of 12 Promising New Actors of 1986 in John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. At just 18 when she appeared in the role Doody was and is - the youngest Bond girl to date. In 1987, Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying in which she played IRA members Siobhan Doovan. Doody had a non-speaking role in the 1987 version of The Secret Garden appearing as Archibald Craven's wife Lilias in the movie of his dreams. Doody played Sapsorrow in the episode of Jim Henson's fable show The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The actress starred alongside Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathizer and an forensic archaeologist in the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody played the role with Sean Connery, who played Indy's father. Doody starred alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries which was a British mini-series inspired by Hitler Diaries. The actress later relocated to Hollywood. She starred as Flannery on the screen in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. Doody made her acting comeback in 2003 with a minor performance on The Actors, a British comedy The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at the awards ceremony. In 2004, Doody starred alongside Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. Also, she appeared on Benjamin's Struggle (2005), a pamphlet describing the Holocaust. Doody was also cast in Danny Dyer's The Rapture (2009). She guested in RTE's the medical thriller The Clinic. The project was eventually canceled. In 2011, she started the second season on the E4 comedy show Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. She starred in We Still Kill the Old Way, a 2014 film. She was given the Almeria film award on the 21st of November, 2018.
